Shyness equally known as timidity refers to the state of being nervous around people. In our previous post, we talked about 4 reasons why need to overcome the fear of rejection.

The fear of rejection and shyness are closely interrelated. And so most guys who are shy, suffer from the fear of rejection.

If you're not afraid of whether or not someone would accept you or pay you attention, then you definitely won't be afraid to approach them.

Feeling shy around most girls, or just around that one girl you like, might be frustrating. Each you find yourself around women, you don't know what to say and suddenly catch a blank mind.

You don't equally know how to ask her out or even start talking to her.

If you do talk to her, you experience difficulties coming up with interesting ideas, in order to stew up the conversation and make her perceive you as interesting.

You wish she was your girlfriend and paid more attention to you, but you have no idea how to accomplish that.

In this article, we are going to discuss a couple of simple steps to start overcoming your shyness around girls, feel more comfortable and engage in interesting conversations with women.

It may seem like an impossible thing to do right now, but once you know and apply the exact steps, it becomes so simple and straightforward.

So let's start off with examining the basic problem, why you feel shy around girls? As we discussed earlier, the fear of rejection can make you become shy.

And so how do you get rid of this fear? Personally, whenever I approach any woman, I don't care whether or not she rejects me. If she rejects me, I don't take it personal, because most times it's not about me.

I simply bounce into action and let the conversation flow naturally. I don't need pickup lines, I just need to look good, be funny and make the bold step.

Another reason why you feel shy around girls is the problem of inferiority complex. It is the feeling that you are of lower status or lower value than someone else.

By the way, notice how around girls who you aren't as attracted to, you don't feel as shy around them. This is because they don't have the beauty which usually intimidates you.

So how do you overcome inferiority so you can act confident around the girls you like? One way is to find out what is making you feel inferior and fix it.

If you have crooked teeth, get them straightened. If you are overweight, start hitting the gym frequently. If you feel ashamed of the clothes you wear, get a new style and upgrade your closet. If you think you're a loner, learn how to make new friends.

But sometimes, you might experience problems you can't fix. What if you were just born way shorter than everyone else? or you are just uglier than average, no matter what you do?

In these cases, there's nothing much you can do, but then learn to live with your appearance as it is and learn to accept it. Everyone has their flaws, there's no perfect human being who posses everything.

And girls aren't really looking for the flawlessly perfect guy anyway. I'm sure you've heard before how girls pay far less attention to a guy's looks than to his personality.

Yes, it is entirely true. Sure, there are some girls who only like good looking guys, but this is the minority. Most girls will look past any physical shortcoming you have if you are just confident and can make them laugh.

Instead of trying to make your appearance perfect, work on improving your social skills and personality.

The more you talk to girls, the less shy you will eventually become. As you talk to more and more girls, it's almost inevitable that you will find a girl you have chemistry with.
